The Gladius Liverpool is a further development of the legendary Trainwreck Liverpool and is tonally between a Boogie and a VOX AC30. Fat & Gainy!

The sound character of the Trainwreck amps has written music history and is traded at a similar price as the Dumble amps. It was therefore a special challenge to recreate components such as transformers, which ultimately make the decisive difference.

Ken still used old tubes from the 60s in his original amps. Gladius uses NOS tubes, which alone was a big challenge to optimize the sound accordingly.

But also the arrangement of the components and their placement underlines the ingenuity of Ken Fisher. For me personally the Gladius Liverpool is one of the best new amps ever built!

The Liverpool has the latest technology for lossless power reduction on board. A VARIAC and post-phase inverter master volume tuned by Ken Fisher. The distortion behavior of the Trainwreck amps is unique.

At least as important as the amp is the right choice of loudspeaker housing and the loudspeakers used with it, tailored to the playing feel and the sound of a Trainwreck!

For this reason, Gladius offers very light and fast resonating cabs for different applications (to get full and rich tones at lower volumes) with a professional burn-in of the speakers.

The 1x12" One Cab is intended for the studio and small stages and, with the Alnico speaker, brings exactly the mid-breath you want from a Trainwreck.

The 2x12" Big Cab is intended for the 60's vintage tone, which is fat and softer in attack.

The 2x12" Ruby Cab is the ultimate cab that perfectly harmonizes the character of the EL84 power amplifier and the sparkling mids of the Alnico magnet.

Gladius guarantees the full tone of all its cabs from 0.1 watts and up!
