This D-Style box was modeled after the version used by Robben Ford in Europe. As with all Gladius Cabs, 3 things are important here.
Max light weight
as small as possible
develop the full sound even at low volume without booming at full power
Compared to the significantly larger and heavier cabs, e.g. from Two Rock or Amplified Nation cabs, the Gladius version sounds even livelier and bigger, which of course also comes from the fact that this box, like all Gladius cabs, is handcrafted by a carpenter. In addition, there are the specially aged Celstion G12-65, which Robben also uses.
Depending on the performance of the output transformer, the box can be ordered in 4, 8 or 16 ohms.
All Gladius cabinets are built like acoustic guitars and sounds like an instrument!
All speakers got a very special Gladius aging and sounds dramatically different to the new ones!
