The 100% handcrafted LCO212W (W stands for Wide-Sound) unites both the below advantages in one cabinet. The open character with a spatial and bluesy tone of an 'Open-Back' as well as the closed character with the firm bass and the defined tone of a 'Closed-Back' So to speak: 'The Best Of Both Worlds'

It took years of research to create the above mentioned sound; features from the HiFi industry were taken over such as e.g. front Bass-Reflex openings as a replacement for the 3^rd and 4^th loudspeaker. In order to generate early resonance, the box panels are extremely tightly finger joined and stiffened, which is essential in order to create the right tone especially at low sound levels.

Mono-stereo option:

You can operate the non identical speakers separately – stereo! If connected in the center, both speakers perform together (mono) only when the right input (offset) is used, both speakers perform separately!

The 100% handcrafted 2x12'' LCO212W clearly sounds in the direction of the lively full bodied Blues or Rock of the late sixties and early seventies! This cabinet has an extremely low weight with a 3-dimensional rich tone that also performs perfectly at low volume levels! From blues up to blues-rock, this box covers an extremely organic frequency spectrum and brings, despite the open rear panel, stiff and dynamic bass characteristics with lots of smacks in attack and rich overtones. The new 2017 made Creamback speakers are now the state of the art speaker for the old Marshall style sounds in 2x12“ cabs.
